My Lost Treasure: Donovan

Weather related songs.  That is the current theme on My Lost Treasure.  I can not recall who sent me the idea for this one, but it was more than a couple of people that wanted to hear it.

I almost met Donovan back in 1998 at Day in the Garden.  That was a concert that was held in Bethel on the site of the Woodstock Concert before it became Bethel Woods center for the Arts.  Donovan was a performer at the show and he was staying at the same motel as the radio station.  We stood on the sidewalk together, and made eye contact.  that is an almost meeting.  My friend and coworker Greg actually had lunch with Donovan.  I was doing the midday show, so lunch was out of the question for me.  Oh well.  Almost is pretty good, too.
