The current theme on My Lost Treasure is building a city. An imaginary city built through songs. Songs about houses and schools and other things you would find in a city. I think it's time we put a station in our city.

It's been well over a year since we lost David Bowie. Going on two years, actually. But I still can't believe it. David Bowie was such a strong part of my teen years, and into my twenties, thirties, etc. I can't even listen to Bowie without memories flooding into my mind. Memories of my high school years, driving around in my friend Fanny's Hornet listening to Ziggy Stardust. Listening to the Young Americans album with Mark Visconti. Or watching Bowie play a show at The Chance right here in Poughkeepsie. To say I miss him is an understatement.

Got a song idea to help us build our city? I would love to hear what it is. Let me know at robyn@wpdh.com or find me on facebook. Thanks!
