My Lost Treasure: CSNY

The current theme on My Lost Treasure is relatives and family members.  I got a lot of great suggestions.  And I already had a bunch of songs in my mind.  Surprisingly, I didn't even think of tonight's song.  Mike Mitchell did.  Thanks, Mike, it is one of my favorites.

I actually sang this song in a group when I was in tenth grade.  Not a band, a group.  Believe it or not, I was part of a youth group at the temple my family belonged to.  Don't go judging me on the youth group goody two shoes thing.  One of the first times I got high was with the youth group.  And we sang Teach Your Children.  We were pretty cool.  Our parents would have killed us if they knew what was going on.  They thought they were teaching us well by making us be in the youth group.

So many years later, and I still love this song.  I still love the memories, too.  Got a family member song that you want to hear?  I'm all ears.
