My Lost Treasure: Cream

The theme right now on My Lost Treasure is weather related songs.  Lately I have been playing a lot of Eric Clapton.  I guess he has a lot of songs that fit my themes.  Today it is a great weather related song from Cream.

I still remember my sister's copy of Cream's Sunshine Of Your Love.  It was on a single 45 record, with the yellow and white ATCO label.  At least that is how I remember it.  And I remember she had a little obsession with the song.  So, being the younger sister who had to be just like her older sister, I became obsessed also.  The whole country did, because it became a huge hit.  And every guitar player and some none players could play those opening notes on their guitars.

The song has certainly stood the test of time.  I still love hearing it, and it's still played on many radio stations today.  So, maybe it's not exactly lost, but it is a treasure for sure.  Got a suggestion for a weather related song?  Let me know, and I will use it for My Lost Treasure.  Thanks.
