My Lost Treasure: Crazy Joe And The Variable Speed Band

It is another blast from the past today on My Lost Treasure.  At least from my past. The theme is guys names.  Today's pick is one we played right here on WPDH in my earliest days here.  Maybe you actually remember it.  Or not.

This is kind of a novelty song I guess.  It is pretty funny.  And the thing is, it was co written and co produced by Ace Frehely from Kiss.  And Crazy Joe is actually Joe Renda who is from Westchester County.  So there is a Hudson Valley connection.  It is like local rock and roll.  You don't get to hear this one to often.  In fact, I can not remember the last time I heard it.  And it probably has not gotten airplay on the radio since 1982 or 1983.  So here I am to make sure this treasure is not lost anymore.
