My Lost Treasure: Chuck Berry

Happy Fourth of July!  The theme on My Lost Treasure is guy's names.  And we have kicked it off with the name John.  Today we are going with an all American artist and an all American song.  Another oldie but goodie.

I am pretty sure it was during a Fourth of July celebration that I got to see Chuck Berry in concert.  It was on the waterfront in Poughkeepsie, and if my memory serves me correctly, Independence day weekend circa 1993.  It might have been 1992.  It was a little sad because it was a stage, a bunch of folding chairs, and maybe 50 people in the audience.  But Chuck put on a great show, and those of us that were there really enjoyed it.
