My Lost Treasure: Charlie Daniels

I am still coming "up" with songs for our up and down theme on My Lost Treasure.  Today is a "down" song from The Charlie Daniels Band.  The song is almost forty years old, which seems shocking to me.  Shocking and a little depressing.  Times sure flies.

I am not sure that I can say this is my favorite song from Charlie Daniels.  It's not.  But it is pretty damn good, and the fiddle playing is amazing.  And how about that Charlie Daniels?  He's 80 years old and still going strong.  In fact, The Charlie Daniels Band is playing at The Paramount Hudson Valley in Peekskill on April 22.

Boris and I will return to the airwaves this coming Tuesday, Feb. 21.  We are well rested and ready to entertain you.  Well, entertain might be a strong word, but we will try.  In the meantime enjoy the holiday weekend, and we look forward to talking to you next  week.
