My Lost Treasure: Canned Heat

Road Trip!  It's time to kick off our series of road songs.  After doing street songs a couple of weeks ago, I realized there are also tons of road songs.  So...we're going on the road again.

It was actually bluesman Tommy Johnson that inspired today's song.  He also inspired the name of the band that recorded today's song.  The original demo for the song clocked in at over seven minutes.  The album version that I'm playing today is just under five. And I think the single on the radio was about three and change.
