My Lost Treasure: Bow Wow Wow

Today is the last day of Halloween type songs, and it is also the song that will transition us into our new theme of food and drink.  It fits both categories.  Candy is definitely a staple on Halloween, and it's also a food.  There you go. We are covering two themes in one.

I remember playing today's treasure back in the 80s when I first came to work for WPDH.  I don't think I even realized it was a remake of a song done in the mid 60s by The Strangeloves.  I found that out years later when I worked at an oldies station for a little while.  The version I remember is the one by Bow Wow Wow, so that's the one I am playing today.  Besides, any chance I get to feel nostalgic about my early days here at WPDH I will take it.

As of tomorrow the new theme on My Lost Treasure is food and drink.  To celebrate the oncoming holidays.  Got any ideas?  Everything counts.  Food, spices, herbs, drinks of any kind.  If you can ingest it, we can use it.
