My Lost Treasure: Blotto

The theme is professions, and since summer is just about here, it is another summer type profession.  Yesterday it was ice cream man, and today it is lifeguard.  This one is a blast from the past for a lot of Hudson Valley long time listeners of WPDH.

I am pretty sure that Blotto started in the Albany area, but they spent a lot of time here in the Poughkeepsie area.  They played The Chance quite a bit, and often it was for their infamous Blottoween parties.  Talk about a good time.  Those were some of the most fun memories I have of my days here at the station.  Blotto was always funny, and they were also a talented group of musicians.  Today's treasure got a lot of airplay here on WPDH, and it was always one of my favorites.
