My Lost Treasure: Blood, Sweat, and Tears

Our current theme on My Lost Treasure is up and down.  We have been playing songs with up or down in the title.  Today is a little bit different.  The title does not include either up or down, but the lyrics do.  Both words.

I want to thank my facebook friend Pam for suggesting today's lost treasure.  I was so busy trying to think of song title that it never even occurred to me to play this one. And it fits so well.  This is one of those tunes that I grew up with.  It was a big am radio hit.  And it really is a great song.  The vocals are powerful, as are most vocals from Blood, Sweat, and Tears.  David Clayton-Thomas could really belt out a tune.
