My Lost Treasure: Billy Joel

I can't believe how quickly the spring is going by.  It's almost June, and that means almost summer!  As we close out the month of May, I'm playing songs that have to do with may...not really the month, just some tie in.

Today we go back to 1980 and Billy Joel's Glass Houses album.  I loved Billy Joel back in the 70s and 80s.  I can still remember sitting on my friend Vicki's bed listening to The Stranger.  It was like nothing I'd ever heard...every song was great...at least it seemed that way back then.

Just a side note about today's song...It features Liberty DeVitto on drums (as do so many of Billy's songs).  Liberty will be playing with his band The Slim Kings for the Newburgh Illuminated Festival on June 20.  Just thought you might like to know.
