My Lost Treasure: Arlo Guthrie

The theme is till places.  Cities, towns, countries, etc.  Today is also 4/20, a special number for lovers and fans of marijuana.  Pot heads.  So I figured I would pick a song that cover both the theme and the day. I think I have got the perfect choice.

Today we go back to 1969 and the Woodstock Music and Arts Festival in Bethel.  Arlo Guthrie delivered his famous line about the New York State Thruway being closed.  He told me years later in an interview that his kids still make fun of him for that line.  I am not sure that the thruway actually closed that day.  I heard it did not.  Anyway, he also performed today's pick about flying into Los Angeles with illegal drugs.  Fitting, right?
