My Lost Treasure: Alice Cooper

The theme this week on My Lost Treasure is Halloween type songs.  I guess I have a few to pick from when it comes to Alice Cooper songs, but I decided to go with Welcome To My Nightmare.  It fits so well.

When i picked the song, I figured i would tell you how I am friendly with Alice Cooper bass player/co writer Dennis Dunaway and his wife Cindy.  It is Dennis' bass guitar that I am wearing in my facebook profile picture.  But as it turns out, Dennis was already gone by the time Alice recorded Welcome To My Nightmare.  However, it was Kingston's own Tony Levin playing on bass for the song.  Just as cool.  Whenever I can play something with a local connection I am happy.

The Halloween type songs will continue through Halloween night, and then we will kick off our new theme of food and drink.  perfect as we head into Thanksgiving and the holiday season.  Got any ideas?  send the to robyn@wpdh.com.  Thanks!
