My Lost Treasure: A New Theme for Pete Townshend’s Birthday

Today Pete Townshend from The Who celebrates his 71st birthday.  In honor of Pete's birthday, we are kicking off a new theme on My Lost Treasure.  The theme is professions and occupations, and we are starting with doctors.

I have always been a huge fan of The Who's Tommy album.  It is one of my all time favorite albums.  But Quadrophenia is right up there, too.  In fact, more of my friends say that Quadrophenia is their favorite Who album.  Today's song comes from that very album, and it is the song that inspired me to do this theme.  It also happens to be one of my favorite doctor songs, and there are a lot of them.  Happy birthday, Pete.  Thanks for all those years of great music.
