The first three days of Mountain Jam this year were fantastic in many ways, but mother nature had other ideas for day four. A little after midnight early Sunday morning, the skies opened up and rained through the night. Concert goers caught a break late Sunday morning when the rain held off long enough for many to pack up and leave the show. However, one of the main attractions of the weekend had yet to play, and thousands awaited The Avett Brothers performance that was scheduled to close out the festival.

Due to the torrential downpours along with high winds, hail and thunder/lightning that were being predicted for later in the day, the difficult decision was eventually made to cancel the remainder of the festival. Today, Mountain Jam announced their refund policy for those affected by the cancellation.

Any ticket order containing a 3 or 4 day pass or Sunday only ticket are eligible for partial and in some cases full refunds. Tickets purchased through third party vendors or won through contests are not eligible. All refund requests must be submitted to refunds@mountainjam.com by July 9th.
