Monticello Man Wins $1 Million With The NY Lotto

32 year old Brian Peters was on his way to work, on September 1st, when he figured he'd pick up a lotto ticket with his breakfast. Hey, you got to be in it to win it, right? Peters bought the NY Lottery Poker scratch off ticket at the Citgo on Jefferson Street in Monticello. He was confident in his ticket purchase, even proclaiming to the store employee that he had the "big winner and that he'd be back". Sure enough, Peters was back....one million dollars (well, before taxes) richer, according to the Times-Herald Record. Congrats!
