Monticello Man Charged With Grand Larceny

A Monticello man is accused of making purchases using a credit card that was stolen from Orange County.

New York State Police in Montgomery charged of 54-year-old Brian J. Jimick with fourth-degree grand larceny, a class E felony.

Jimick was arrested after an investigation into fraudulent charges on a credit card that was reported stolen from a local business in Montgomery, police say.

Jimick was released on an appearance ticket to return in the Village of Montgomery Court on Nov. 16.

In related news, an Ulster County man is accused of using a stolen credit card to make a number of illegal purchases at several local businesses.
