Happy Birthday today (Oct. 30) to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale. He’s 52. Other rockers celebrating today include AC/DC drummer Chris Slade (71), bassist Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles (70) and Jefferson Airplane singer Grace Slick (78).

Gavin Rossdale is known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the rock band Bush. The band formed out of London in 1992 and had immediate success with the release of their debut album Sixteen Stone, which was certified 6 times multi-platinum by the RIAA. Bush became one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the 1990’s selling over 10 million albums in the U.S. alone.

Other successful albums included Razorblade Suitcase in 1996 and The Science of Things in 1999. Bush disbanded in 2002 and eventually reunited in 2010. The band's seventh studio album Black and White Rainbows was released earlier this year. Cheers to Gavin Rossdale on his birthday today!
