A new poll out Tuesday morning shows Ben Carson has surpassed Donald Trump as the front-runner for the Republican Presidential nomination. Could an endorsement from Mike Tyson help Trump?

In an interview with HuffPost Live Tyson said Trump, “Should be President of the United States.”  The former heavyweight boxing offered his White House endorsement while being interviewed for his cartoon show “Mike Tyson Mysteries.”

Tyson is looking for a new business-minded leader for the country after eight years of Barack Obama as President. "Let's try something new. Let's run America like a business, where no colors matter. Whoever can do the job, gets the job," Tyson said.

As for Trump's controversial comments on immigration, Tyson admitted he said some "really crude things." Tyson somewhat defended Trumps remarks by adding, “Any time people are going to say bad things about Latinos, they’re going to say bad things about blacks, bad things about any ethnic people, you know, whatever it is, that’s just what this country was built on. But it doesn’t stop us from striving. It doesn’t stop us from becoming president.”

Also in Trump's defense, Tyson said Trump is just an average guy who needs someone to work with him on his message delivery.

CBS News/"New York Times" released an updated Republican Presidential poll Tuesday morning that shows Ben Carson leading Trump, 26-22 % nationally. The retired neurosurgeon's support is four times what it was in August.
