State Police arrested a Middletown teenage girl and a Nyack 23-year-old for possession of drugs and impersonation.

State Police observed a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant disabled on State 209 in the Town of Mamakating. Police say the two suspects gave fake names. The driver, later identified as 18-year-old Jessica Mohan, told police the car ran out of gas. It was later determined that Mohan was driving with a suspended license. Mohan was also allegedly in possession of cocaine and a prescribed controlled substance outside of the original container.

The cars passengers, later identified as 23-year-old Najee J. Stith, was wanted by New York State Police on a parole warrant. Stith was allegedly in possession of a quantity of cocaine packaged for sale. Police say more cocaine was found in the car.

Stith was charged with 3rd-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies, 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 2nd-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and criminal impersonation, misdemeanors.

Mohan was charged with 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance outside its original container, 2nd-degree criminal impersonation, and 2nd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors.

Both were arraigned at Town of Mamakating Town Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail on no bail. Both are scheduled to appear in the Town of Mamakating Town Court on April 21.
