Middletown Couple Found With Forged Credit Cards

A Middletown couple was found to be in possession of a number of forged credit cards and a machine that creates fake cards.

New York State Police in Haverstraw arrested Etinosa Imafidon, 26, and 19-year-old Ladaizah Smith, both of Middletown for 2nd-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and possession of a forgery device, both class D felonies.

Police say during a traffic stop on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the Town of Ramapo, the couple was found to possess numerous forged credit cards and a credit card reader/encoder used to create fraudulent credit cards.

Imafidon and Smith were arraigned in the Village of Spring Valley Court and remanded to Rockland County Jail pending a future court appearance.
