Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was arrested and charged with DUI early Tuesday Morning......Again

Phelps said in a statement "Earlier this morning, I was arrested and charged with DUI, excessive speeding and crossing double lane lines". He added "I understand the severity of my actions and take full responsibility. I know these words may not mean much right now but I am deeply sorry to everyone I have let down."

The gold medalist was pulled over just after 1:30 am Tuesday for driving 84 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. Upon being pulled over, he failed the field sobriety test, and according to TMZ, his blood alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit.

Michael Phelps was charged with excessive speeding, driving under the influence, and crossing double lane lines.

Let's not forget that this is his second DUI offense, as he was arrested back in 2004 for DUI when he was 19.
