Metallica Midnight Release Party

Metallica is set to release their first new album in eight years this Friday and you could be among the first to own it. Darkside Records in Poughkeepsie will be having a midnight release and listening party Thursday night for all those folks looking to get it the minute it goes on sale.

Hardwired...To Self Destruct is the bands 10th studio album and will be released as a double disk. The deluxe edition contains a third with a whole bunch of bonus material. Darkside will have it available in several different formats.

The party starts at 10pm and they're going to have Metallica karaoke leading up to the release. So bring your best James Hetfield growl and sing your heart out.
