It's been over a week since the last Meat at the Movies and I'm glad that it has returned just in time for this weekend. The based on true events docudrama Foxcatcher and goofy comedy sequel Dumb and Dumber To are the ones to look for.

First, Foxcatcher; Steve Carell, Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo star in this based on true events crime/docudrama that ends in tragedy. It follows the story of two brother Olympic wrestlers and a millionaire who look to from a champion team for the 1988 Olympics. Poor lifestyle choices bring this potential gold medal team into a tragic downward spiral. This one gets 85 on Metacritic and 92 on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics are calling this nothing less than fantastic.

Now for the one I've been waiting for: Dumb and Dumber To, the sequel to the 1994 Dumb and Dumber. This one won't be as highly acclaimed as Foxcatcher, but it looks to be a stupid funny movie. After Harry and Lloyd learn that Harry has a daughter, they make it their goal to find her. It's only got a 40 on Rotten Tomatoes and critics seem to be split on how funny or how stupid this movie is. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm so ready to start quoting this one as much as I did the last. "Kick his ass, Sea Bass!"

As always, check out the trailers below and until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies.
