Something worth it and something everyone is going to go and see. These are the two kinds of movies released this week. Selma, the highly rated Martin Luther King Jr. movie and Taken 3, the newest action-packed Liam Neeson movie are the two to look at.

Selma follows Martin Luther King Jr. and his followers in his march from Selma to Montgomery in the struggle for equal voting rights for blacks. Despite the Civil Rights Act being passed a year prior in 1964, in many cities, especially in the south, there was much violence against those fighting for equal rights. Starring David Oyelowo as MLK Jr. and Tom Wilkinson as President Lyndon Johnson this looks to be one of the highest rated films of the year already; with 100% on Rotten Tomaotes and 91/100 on Metacritic, critcs say that the film perfectly depicts the struggle around the Civil Rights Act and the right to vote.

And for the movie people will probably see, even thought the ratings on this one are poor; Taken 3. Though it may be ridiculously action packed and good for those who don't care for anything but action, Rotten Tomatoes rates it 14% and Metacritic shows 30/100. This being the last installment of the Taken series, Bryan Milles (Neeson) is framed for the murder of his ex-wife and must run from the authorities and protect his daughter while he tries to find the real killers which will be no problem for him because hes Liam Neeson.

Check out the trailers below and as always, until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
