Sometimes you have to wonder, is it worth it to think about other movies when you know one will dominate all others even if its not as good? Sometimes you have to wonder how much potty humor you can take. Fortunately, Ted 2 exists to test the boundaries.

Mark Wahlberg and Seth McFarlane return in the raunchy comedy follow-up 'Ted 2.' This time the talking and living teddy bear Ted and his new human bride Tammi-Lynn are looking to have a baby...somehow...but need to prove that Ted is a person in order to have a baby. I guess there is something saying that your Dad can't also be your teddy bear. Rotten Tomatoes give this a rating of only 44%. Critics say that liking this movie is based on the kind of comedy the viewer is into. If offended easily then maybe skip this one or if you enjoined the first one then you'll be a-okay.

Now, there are other movies out too, also in wide release is the family oriented adventure movie, 'Max.' After a marine is killed in Afghanistan his family adopts his military dog and brings him back to the U.S. Max forms a strong bond with his former owner's teenage brother changing both their lives forever. With few ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, and all of them being rotten, there isn't much draw to the movie with critics claiming the dog's acting is better then it's human counterparts. The one thing expected out of this movie is that its bound to create a demand of the breed Belgian Malinois.

Lastly a movie in limited release, but also the most interesting one of the bunch, "Escobar: Paradise Lost.' Following a young surfer falling for Pablo Escobar's neice, he quickly learns what its like to be part of the family business. Starring Benicio Del Toro as Escobar and Josh Hutcherson as Nick the surfer Rotten Tomatoes rates this at 58%. Critics say that the plot drifts from the story of Escobar but is still an intriguing drama saved by Del Toro.

Take a look at the trailers below, and as always, until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
