I'm very excited, the weather is getting colder (at least it should be) and it's becoming movie season again. Nobody wants to go outside, because, well, who knows what the weather will be.

This weekend three, count 'em one, two, three movies are out. So lets take a short look at each. 'The Best of Me,' 'Book of Life' and 'Fury' starting with the lowest rated...sorry.

'The Best of Me,' a best selling novel by Nicholas Sparks turned into a fairly low rated movie. With only 20% on Rotten Tomatoes, this movie follows a high school couple (Michelle Monaghan, James Marsden) after they have been reunited after 20 years. They return to their home town for a funeral and find themselves rekindling old flames. They're stuck between first love's second chance and the same issues that drove them apart 20 years ago. I'm going to go out there and this movie is 'meh.'

Next, the animated children's fantasy adventure movie, 'The Book of Life.' Starring the voices of: Diego Luna, Zoë Saldana, Channing Tatum and Ice Cube to name a few; follows a hero who goes on a mythical journey to find his true love. Kids will love this one I think, for the same reason adult won't. Critics are saying that it follows the usual story line of of a kids movie with all the same stuff people over the age of 13 have seen in every kids movie. Rotten Tomatoes gave this a 69%.

Lastly, a movie with a big cast that includesShia LaBeouf sporting a mustache that I would be proud of, 'Fury.' The cast also includes Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña , Jon Bernthal  and Jason Isaacs. Critics are calling this one a soild WWII movie about a tank crew that finds themselves broken down and outnumbered behind enemy lines. It's an authentic looking movie visually, but could have gone further as far as the script goes. Rotten Tomatoes gave this one a 79%, good odds for this to be the weekend's top movie.

Check out the trailers below, and as always, until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
