So apparently other movies that are not 'Star Wars' are believe released this week. I guess that's not a horrible idea. Now people have the option to see other movies instead of the new 'Star Wars,' like ' Alvin and the Chipmunks:The Road Chip' and 'Sisters.'

First off, there are now four Alvin and the Chipmunks movies and now many people are excited about it. In this latest edition Alvin and the guys hear a rumor that Dave is going to propose to his girlfriend and forget about them. They make it their mission to find a way down to Miami to stop the proposal and make sure they keep Dave to themselves. With a rating of 17% on Rotten Tomatoes it might as well have just not been released. Critics are saying that the story and jokes are overdone and its not worth spending the time to watch.

As for the more respectable competitor, 'Sisters' starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler follows two 30 something year old sisters having one last wild weekend at the house where they grew up before it gets sold. Of course one of the sisters is a bit more of a party animal thus creating a kind of learning to let it all go and strutting your stuff story. Critics give this a rating of 73% on Rotten Tomatoes with most really enjoying this raunchy comedy. Reviews say that though this style of party movie isn't new, the chemistry between Fey and Poehler is, always has been, and always will be what makes one of the best comedic duos.

Finally, for what everyone has been waiting for, 'Star Wars: the Force Awakens.' The seventh installment finally arrives with rave reviews. Most people are hiding themselves away from any new trailer or people talking about the movie to avoid spoilers so I won't much about whats going on with this one. However, critics are saying that this trilogy promises to be much better than the last and that its more then we could have hoped for. Between the great story telling, amazing visuals and character progression, this one defiantly deserves the 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Check out the trailers below and until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
