It's looking like another week to skip out on the theaters and enjoy some Spring snow with the likes of The Gunman and Insurgent stinking up the box office. But who am I to say so?

Sean Penn stars in The Gunman (R), a story of 50+ year old guys in outstanding shape beating on each other. Penn plays a former assassin who has an attempt made on his life and is haunted by his violent past, so that makes it an action movie. While he travels to London to find out who wants him dead he also runs into an old lover. I'd say director Pierre Morel (Taken) has a theme he likes. With critics giving this a Rotten Tomatoes score of just 15% for reasons of this is being a bad movie partly due to the biggest preparation of the movie is Sean Penn getting ready to be topless.

The followup in the young-adult novels made movie the Divergent Series, Insurgent (PG-13) follows Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) who are now on the run from the Erudite elite in futuristic Chicago. Tris races to find out what it was that her family died to protect and hopefully find out the truth of the past in order to save their future. With a 36% rating on Rotten Tomatoes some critics are calling this slightly better than the first installment and more adult-friendly. Shailene Woodley is said to be on point despite the series struggling to get out of it's young-adult crowd.

As always, check out the trailers below and until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
