And the question is, when you have JLo in lingerie, an animated kids movie or Johnny Depp with a fabulous mustache against each other who wins? This is going to have to be your decision as far as which movie to see this weekend: The Boy Next Door, Strange Magic and Mortdecai.

The Boy Next Door stars Jennifer Lopez as the hot neighbor/teacher/friends mom and Ryan Guzman as the boy next door. After the husband looses attention, Claire (Lopez) become a little too friendly with the new boy who moved in next door. After a one time fling, Noah (Guzman) becomes obsessed and forces his way into her life and her class while blackmailing her with pictures of that one night. As a thriller this could be interesting but it doesn't look like anything new. But hey, JLo is partially dressed in part of the movie, so there's that. With a Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score of 90% it looks like this one wont do too bad in the box office.

As for the children's movie of the week, it was hard to watch the trailer all the way through. Strange Magic stars the voices of Alan Cumming as the Bog King and Evan Rachel Wood as fairy princess Marianne. This is a movie of good magic and the mysteriousness of the Dark Forrest and the evils that lay within. When a potion that destroys order is created, both sides fight to get their hands on it. Of course there is music from the past few decades helping tell the story, kids love it because its all new to them, but for this Meat Sandwich, I can't stand it. It's safe to say this is not a children's movie for everyone. Rotten Tomato's Audience Score leaves this at a respectable 86%.

Lastly, a silly movie. Johnny Depp plays Charlie Mortdecai a suave art dealer with a fancy mustache. He finds himself chasing a painting across the world that is rumored to have a code for a bank filled with nazi gold. While relying on his wits he must get past his wife, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, Mi5 and the Russians. This has a 92% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes and I absolutely enjoined every clip of this movie I've seen. This has the Meat Sandwich seal of approval.

As always, check out the trailers below and until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies.
