This week is another week with two movies to think about. The first one is one that I'm very excited for is 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' and the second is Blended. 'Godzilla annihilated the box office last weekend and is the  second highest grossing movie of the year next to good old 'Captain America: Winter Soldier.'

This new X-Men film is going to be action packed with mutants fighting Sentinels developed by Dr. Bolivar Trask, played by Peter Dinklage. One of the cool things about this movie which is also sometimes a downfall of some movies is that it involves time travel. I hope this turns into a nice mash up of the original X-Men actors as well as the young First Class actors...I guess we'll find out this weekend. This movie includes all our favorite characters so I do have high hopes for this one. Maybe it will knock 'Godzilla' out of the top spot in the box office.

The second movie we're looking at is the Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler romantic comedy called 'Blended.' Now I know what you're thinking because I'm thinking the same thing...haven't we seen this twice before in 'The Wedding Singer' and '50 First Dates?' Don't get me wrong, I liked both of those movies and I still quote and reference 'The Wedding Singer' all the time, but come on, I really want to pull a grade school quote and say "well if you love it so much then why don't you marry it?" ...And I did, so there! This movie is about the two going on a blind date that ended poorly. Naturally they never wanted to see each other again but find out that they have taken their families to the same vacation spot at the same time and are then forced to be around each other. COMEDY GOLD!

If you haven't realized this yet, I'm going with 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' this weekend to take the stop spot, even over 'Godzilla.' Check out the trailers below, and as always, until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies.
