This weekend is going to be big in the box office because of something many of us have been waiting for the second time in two years, a second Spider-Man movie. 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' is expected to be one of the highest grossing movies of this year and I believe it. There is nothing else in theaters right now that, as far as I'm concerned, will put up a fight against this movie. Andrew Garfield returns as Spider-Man and Emma Stone as Gwen. There are a bunch of bad guys in this one, Jamie Foxx as Max/Electro, Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn a.k.a. the future Green Goblin and Paul Giamatti as the Rhino. Check out the trailer below. (I miss Paul Giamatti in the movie where he turned the color blue with Frankie Muniz)

Other big news in the movie world, the cast of 'Star Wars Episode 7' has been announced. There has been a table reading of the script and we know that this episode takes place 30 years in the future and it looks like it will be Harrison Ford leading this one. It set to be released December 18th 2015.

And, something a little throwback, 'Sixteen Candles' turns 30 on Sunday the 4th..crazy huh?

Until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
