There are two movies out this week that I've been looking forward to since I saw their first trailers: Disney's 'Maleficent' and 'A Million Ways to Die in the West.' I Think both these movies will do well in the box office this weekend, I think it's safe to say were defiantly into the time of the summer blockbusters.

The first movie I'm looking at this weekend is I guess a guilty pleasure of mine. I've always been into the darker side of Disney and fairy tales, I mean after all, that's what they were made for, fairy tales, to scare kids into not doing something...there was no price charming. I'm really looking forward to 'Maleficent' and Angelina Jolie, I even bought a sweet Maleficent t-shirt, it's pretty great. This movie shows the Sleeping Beauty tale from the other side. As it turns out, Maleficent wasn't always bad, she used to be pure.

The second movie this weekend should be really funny or really stupid or both. 'A Million Ways to Die in the West,' is directed by and stars Seth MacFarlane, we all know him from Family Guy and 'Ted.' With the cast also including, Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Giovanni Ribisi , Neil Patrick Harris and Sarah Silverman what could go wrong? A movie about the wild west seemingly trying to kill MacFarlane's character should be great, and I mean that.

In the end, though, I'm going to have to go with a childhood favorite and put 'Maleficent' on top. Let me know what you plan on seeing this weekend. And as always until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
