Anyone who's ever worked in food service knows about dealing with rude customers.

Bernard Robinson III is a night manager at a McDonald’s in Minneapolis, MN. Robinson was working overnight on Tuesday when a drive thru customer demanded change. The as of yet unidentified 31 year-old customer had reportedly paid for his $3 dollar order with a $100 dollar bill.

Gabe Hart was behind the angry driver, and saw the whole thing happen before his eyes. He filmed the entire altercation.

At first I was annoyed the guy in front of me was taking so long,” Hart posted on LiveLeak. “He seemed pretty upset to begin with, but it looked like when the McDonald’s guy handed him his cash and change back he dropped some of the dude’s change. That’s when he got out of his car, spit on the drive-through window and tried to punch the McDonald’s [worker] and that’s when I started recording.”

Apparently upset that the transaction was taking too long, the customer grabbed Robinson and tried to pull him out the window. “He grabbed my tie, and he’s trying to get me out of the window. He was choking me. … I was fighting for my life,” Robinson said. Robinson hits the customer several times before a coworker intervenes.

.According to the StarTribune, police arrested the customer, cited him for misdemeanor assault and then released him.
