Sir Paul McCartney brought down the house, literally, on Thursday night in San Francisco as Candlestick Park hosted its final event before demolition in the next couple of months. Candlestick Park was host to the San Francisco Giants in baseball and the 49ers in football until both teams moved out of the venue to better surroundings. It also was the last venue to host a commercial Beatles concert back in 1966. Over 44,000 came out to hear Beatle classics and Paul’s work with Wings and his solo work as well.
