With movies like 'The Pyramid' and 'Wild' released this week, it's a nice time to save up some money for the movies coming out next week. However, if you're willing to travel a bit to see 'Wild,' that would be worth it.

First, 'The Pyramid,' produced by the director of 'The Hills Have Eyes' is about a team of archeologists who uncover an underground pyramid. Of course this pyramid is cursed, as all proper pyramids should be. As the team tries to uncover it's secrets they become not only trapped but hunted. It's kind of like 'The Mummy' with Brendan Fraser but not as good. Critics aren't enthusiastic about this movie and they say that many of the scared are right out of other horror flicks. Sadly, this is really the only new movie in wide release this weekend.

When a decent movie gets released we all hope that it would be easy to go and see. This is not the case for 'Wild.' With only limited release in New York City this 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes movie will not be gracing many this weekend (unless you take a trip down to the city.) Reese Witherspoon stars in this movie about Cheryl Strayed who has just lost her mother and separated from her husband. Cheryl finds a way to get over her losses by taking an exceptionally long thousand mile hike alone. I guess it sometimes takes a journey like this to find out where you need to be.

Take a look at the trailers below and as always, until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies.
