Stan Lee, the man behind Spider-Man, and many other of our favorite Marvel characters made a 8-year old autistic boy's day, by drawing a picture of Spider-Man for him and sending it to his home in Harlem.

Stan Lee is known for his writing skills not his artistic ability, but when he heard about 8-year old Jamel Hunter, he was more than happy to sketch something for him.

Jamel, who has autism recently celebrated his 8th birthday with a Spider-Man themed party. The New York Times ran a Neediest Cases Fund story about Jamel back in December, and Stan Lee's Neighbor saw it and asked Lee to draw a picture of Spider-Man for him.

Reported by Autism Speaks, Lee had this to say: "This was a unique experience. Corky [Lee's Neighbor] called me and said there was a little boy. She wanted a sketch, so I did one.”

Lee's neighbor then sent the picture to the Times reporter who hand delivered it to Jamel at his home in Harlem.

Such a great story!
