Marine Survives Sniper Shot To The Helmet In Afghanistan [Video]

In this video you see three Marines making their way through a compound in southern Afghanistan.

The camera appears to be mounted to one of the marines helmets, and as they approach a doorway, you hear a marine ask if there is cover. Next you hear a single shot fired and the round deflects off one of the marines helmet.

The video is pretty crazy, and gives you a look into what our men and women have to go through. The Marine hit with the round is one lucky guy to survive that.

The video is from last year, from the Zad District, where Taliban fighters continue to be threat.
