Mariah Carey’s Sister Pleads Not Guilty to Prostitution in Hudson Valley

The older sister of singer Mariah Carey claims she wasn’t a prostitute servicing the Hudson Valley.

On Friday, 55-year-old Alison A. Carey was arrested following an undercover operation at a hotel in Saugerties.

Carey is accused of soliciting money in exchange for sexual favors from an undercover officer. Police say she allegedly advertised her services online, quoting her famous sister’s 1995 hit “Fantasy,” in the ad.

According to the New York Daily News, the ad contained photos of Allison Carey that promised her “sweet, sweet fantasy” services.

On Wednesday in Saugerties Court, Carey pleaded not guilty to prostitution charges. The New York Daily News reports, she was released from Ulster County Jail after posting her $1,000 bail.

Carey told the Daily Mail she is HIV positive and in need of medical treatment for injuries suffered during a home invasion. She claims her sister has refused to offer her any financial support.
