Man Tries to Kill Spider At Gas Station…With a Lighter [WATCH]

A Michigan man spooked by an itsy-bitsy spider, caused a blaze at a gas station after attempting to kill the spider with a lighter.

The man later admitted he was extremely frightened by spiders. The gas station employee on duty at the time of the incident said in a statement: "Do you know gas go boom?", as reported by HuffPost.

Surveillance video shows the man examining his gas tank, then reaching into his pocket for the lighter. The video then shows flames shooting out across the pavement, and the gas pump.

The man escaped and later returned with a fire extinguisher and put the flames out. Nobody was injured during the incident.
