If you were watching the Giants and the 49ers face off on Sunday Night Football you probably noticed a sudden interruption during the third quarter.

A fan wearing a San Francisco 49ers jersey ran on to the field at MetLife Stadium, before being taken down at the 30 yard line by security. The man has been identified by officials as 25 year-old David Atwood. The Connecticut man was attending the game with his mother, when he decided to storm the field.

Atwood was booked on multiple charges including third-degree resisting arrest, trespassing and fourth-degree throwing of bodily fluids, before being released to his mother. While he was being lead off the field, Atwood can be seen trying to trip one of the officers. He also allegedly headbutted an officer and spat at/on another one, which is considered an aggravated assault:

He has a court hearing on Tuesday in East Rutherford.
