The man allegedly told the female he "had a bullet with her name on it".  

Saugerties Police responded to a 911 call involving a man who pointed a loaded rifle at a female during a domestic dispute, telling the female he had a bullet with her name on it.

Incidental to their investigation, Saugerties Police arrested Fredrick W. Coddington, 27 of Saugerties.

Coddington was charged with Meancing in the second-degree, Criminal Possession of Weapon in the fourth-degree.

Police also seized .270 caliber rifle that was loaded and used during the incident.

Coddington was arraigned in the Town of Saugerties Court and released on his own recognizance upon issuance of an Order of Protection on behalf of the victim.

Coddington is scheduled to return to court later this month.
