Man Meets Woman Online, Steals Her Car On The First Date
Thought your dates were bad? Ever had your own vehicle stolen by a date? That's what unfortunately happened to one unidentified New Jersey woman.
She had thought she was meeting a man named Gennaro Aladena (who said he went by the nickname “Gooch”). In reality, Gooch, was 53-year-old Gerald Tietz. The two decided to meet after chatting online on February 26. Police say that at some point during the night, Tietz got the woman’s car keys and allegedly took her vehicle. Tietz and the car were no where to be found until this last Saturday when Waterford Township police arrested Tietz after the stolen car was spotted in Cherry Hill.
