An Israeli man appeared in court Tuesday to file a restraining order. Not news, right? Well, it seems that this order of protection he's demanding isn't against an ex, or a neighbor.

According to the Israeli news website NRG, David Shoshan appeared at the Haifa Magistrate’s Court and demanded that God stop interfering in his life.

According to the Times of Israeli, Shoshan had tried to obtain the restraining order from police for the past thirty six months but that police had merely sent a patrol car to his home ten times.

Shoshan also argued that over a three-year period God, had exhibited a negative attitude toward him.

The judge obviously denied the request. Presiding Judge Ahsan Canaan said the case was ludicrous and that the man needed to get help not from the court but rather from other sources.

It was not immediately clear if God has an attorney.
