Robbers have utilized a variety of disguises over the years when committing their crimes. Anything from rubber masks, to hoods, to face paint...you name it, these criminals have tried it.

Surveillance video taken on September 28, shows a man with a feminine hygiene taped on his head as he used a piece of wood to break the glass front door of the store. The suspect allegedly then stole several battery chargers and flashlights before fleeing the scene in a white 1992 Dodge Dynasty.

Owner Mark Wedell saw the surveillance footage and says that the suspect could be seen peering through the store window without the disguise before he actually broke in. Wedell goes on to say that the burglar would return, this time with the maxi pad covering his eyes.

Investigators for the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department quickly arrested their suspect, 51-year-old Gary Victor, a convicted felon with a long history of run-ins with the law.

"It wasn't surprising, but yes, that is, in fact, that's what he was trying to conceal his identity with, and he didn't do a very good job," police spokeswoman Trish Hill said, according to UPI.

Victor was arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of burglary and possessing stolen property. The Victorville Daily Press says that the stolen items were returned to Battery Mart.

The maxi pad was recovered and taken into evidence, Hill told HuffPost.
