Man Dead After Being Dragged by Subway Train
This is certainly scary.
ABC 7 NY is reporting that a man was dragged to his death by a subway train around 6:45 p.m. Monday night.
The man got caught in the doors as the F train began moving, and was dragged along the ground before hitting his head on a platform. Sources say Leonard may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident.
51 year-old Edward Leonard later died from his injuries at Jamaica Hospital.
ABC says that the incident happened at the Union Turnpike-Kew Gardens station.
The MTA is investigating.
