President Obama did a fly-by over the Hudson Valley.

The President's personal aircraft was spotted in a rare flight over the Mid Hudson Bridge. YouTube user, Ignacio Patton, was at the Poughkeepsie waterfront when he captured Air Force One making its way through the Hudson Valley.

Positioned between the Mid Hudson Bridge and the Walkway Over the Hudson near Waryas Park, Patton patiently waited for the President to fly by. With his camera focused on the sky, the moment arrived as the amateur photographer zoomed in and caught the most famous airplane in the world flying over the Hudson River.

The video, posted just this week, was actually taken back in 2009 when President Obama was traveling to Albany for a visit. The trip was notable because of an awkward embrace Obama received after landing from Governor David Patterson. Patterson was asked by the Democratic Leader to step aside in his quest for re-election to make way for Andrew Cuomo, who wound up winning the 2010 election.
