We've all probably seen people with service animals at some point. Service animals are there to help people with varying disabilities as they go about their daily lives. Usually, dogs are used to assist these people, though other animals such as monkeys have been utilized as well in some cases. But has anyone ever actually heard of a service snake?

A Missouri recently walked into a restaurant with a snake around his neck. This was obviously quite a shock for the other restaurant customers to see a man there, causally having lunch with a reptile wrapped around his neck. But when these other customers complained to the manager, they were told there was nothing he could do because the man said the snake was his service animal. One customer said that the man even claimed that having the snake was absolutely no different than having a service dog.

This particular case might change everything however. Health officials told the patrons that they can call police in future cases because snakes are considered a health hazard.

Besides, how could the snake actually help a person eat their lunch?
