This is another example when NOT to call 911.

Waynesboro, VA Police Department Sgt. Brian Edwards said in a statement that a man "was apparently under the influence of marijuana when he called 911 and asked the telecommunicator for rolling papers."

24 year-old Kyle Dustin Head called 911 in a "disoriented state requesting drug paraphernalia", says Sgt. Edwards.

WHSV reports that two Waynesboro Police Department officers arrived and found Mr. Head "sitting in a parked 2005 Chevrolet pick-up truck which had the strong odor of marijuana emanating from it,"

Officers found loose fragments of marijuana on the dashboard, passenger seat, and on Head's clothing. Sergeant Edwards' added to his statement that marijuana was also found in Head's right ear, though no one is quite sure how it got there.

Head told officers he had actually misdialed 9111 and was really trying to reach his friend. Head was cited for misdemeanor marijuana possession and released.
